Thank You for Helping me to Materialize my Dream

Li Xin was born and raised in poverty in a rural area in China, he and his elder sister inherited very poor vision from their blind mother. Dad’s meager income from transporting bricks on the construction site is the family’s only source of income, due to the severe pandemic, the construction site was closed. Their dad had to find work in a faraway town; he could not afford to go home for Chinese New Year, the family’s financial burden became unbearable.

RM’s sponsorship program has been supporting many visually impaired students who are as poor as Li Xin. Through the situation of Li Xin’s family, we became more aware of the serious impact of the pandemic upon our students and their families.

We are grateful the pandemic and Li Xin’s congenital limitations did not diminish his desire to reach his goals by studying hard. With a heart of gratitude, he says to RM uncles and aunties who have been supporting him: “The growth of grass cannot be separated from the light of the sun, and flowers will not bloom without the moisture of rain and dew”.

Thank you so much for your gracious support on the road toward reaching my dreams. Your loving kindness is greatly appreciated! “

Thank God for opening the way for Li Xin to get accepted into Binzhou Medical College. The country had already accepted and recognized visually impaired people to become Chinese medicine practitioners.  God’s grace exceeds expectations!

Li Xin’s dream is to obtain a Chinese medicine doctor’s qualification certificate so he can become a government-approved acupuncture and massage doctor, serving and giving back to society.

In Li Xin, we can see, our disabled children, although they have physical imperfections, they never give up!

Especially after the pandemic outbreak, their lives became even more challenging and difficult. The love you show them is like sunshine and rain, warm and nourishing their hearts, enabling them to break through barriers and grow strong.

If you would like to help visually impaired students like Li Xin complete their studies and fulfill their dreams, please go to the RM website. In the column of sponsorship/sponsored students, you can see the actual needs of Li Xin and other students.

Please take part in the sponsorship program to ignite a ray of hope for these disabled young adults living in the dark!

Thank you all for watching! May the Lord grant you and your family peace, health, and happiness!
