2026 RM Annual Fundrasing Dinner Events

First and foremost—thank the Lord! This year, our three fundraising banquets for Rainbow Missions have been successfully completed between late September and early October. The journey has not been without its hardships and challenges. There were moments of exhaustion, and moments that truly moved and inspired us. Yet through it all, we can testify to this one truth: the Lord’s grace always exceeds any difficulty.
I am deeply grateful for the comrades standing beside us—those who labor with us nearby and those who accompany us from afar with love and prayers. Together, you have carried us through every step of this journey where laughter and sweat are woven together. And through it all, the Lord’s grace has been more than sufficient. I’d like to share just a few of the beautiful stories that touched our hearts: ❤️ A Model Pastor – At the first banquet, held in the church’s Sunday worship hall, nearly a thousand heavy chairs had to be stacked along the walls. Our devoted pastor led by example—hands-on, both on and off the stage—guiding everyone to prepare and later restore the hall. He was among the first to arrive and the very last to leave. His selfless service is a shining example for us all.
❤️ The $100 Strawberry Cake and the $1,000 Tofu Pudding – During the dessert auction, a sister bid $100 for a handmade strawberry cake—not to take home—but to bless the hardworking event staff. The church also went above and beyond, not only offering the venue and manpower, but even purchasing a pot of tofu pudding for $1,000, so that love could be shared with everyone present and afar.
❤️ Our Youth Rising – This year, our youth were remarkable. They performed music, produced Story Studio segments, ran charity sales, sold raffle tickets, and even acted as junior reporters. With the encouragement of their parents, they worked in unity, each doing their part to raise support for peers in China.
❤️ Last-Minute Heroes – When one team member fell ill and couldn’t attend the final banquet, other co-workers immediately stepped up. They supported one another, filled the gaps, and ensured every activity continued smoothly.
❤️ Elegant Floral Designs – A sister lovingly designed floral arrangements for all 47 tables across our three evenings. Her thoughtful work elevated the atmosphere, making the hall not just beautiful but warm, reflecting the Lord’s creativity and grace.
❤️ Auctions of Love – Several colored pencil drawings by a teenager with autism were auctioned this year. One family, long-standing supporters of the Rainbow Missions, paid 15 times the final bid. A special education teacher bought a drawing for $300, then re-donated it at the next banquet, where it sold for $1,000. The new owner even promised to donate it again next year, starting at $1,000, carrying forward the Lord’s love and blessing year by year. Stories like these could go on and on. They are a testament to the goodness of God and the beauty of a community walking in His love. I want to thank each of you for your participation, your encouragement, and your generosity in our 2026 annual fundraising dinner events. May you continue in your own ministries to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with the Lord. Let’s look forward to gathering again next year. Until then, may the Lord’s grace and joy be with you all. Thank you, and God bless you.
